Green Tomato is the UK's first carbon-neutral mobile greengrocer. Pretty cool right? Started by Nisha Ravat during Lockdown, their service became essential for so many vulnerable people during a testing time. As the business started to grow, it was clear that they needed to shift some of their business online through an e-commerce store.
We were tasked with creating a brand new spanking Shopify website for Green Tomato that integrated their online and offline sales, whilst creating a hub for their stock and inventory management. An exciting project and one we knew we could definitely help with!
Straightaway, we wanted to immerse ourselves in the brand's values and understand their customer base. Through this research, we found that a simple, fast and easy-to-use website was just what the doctor ordered.
Many of the shoppers would be older and didn't want the faff of anything too shiny on the website, they just wanted to place their order and leave.
We worked with the Green Tomato team through our wireframing, design and development phases to make sure they were happy with our work.
We also spent time with the team to explain how the online and offline sales worked together with Shopify POS, a training session we all found really useful!
Since going live, the brand has seen a great number of sales on the new website and AOV has been boosted too 🚀
